welcome to dickinson elementary

Dickinson Elementary is a K-4 school in the heart of De Pere. We are truly a neighborhood school, proudly serving over 500 students, the vast majority of whom live within walking distance of our building. We believe in strong partnerships between home and school to maximize our students' educational opportunities. We also believe supporting the whole child leads to the greatest and most meaningful results educationally, socially and emotionally. Our talented staff is committed to:

  • Creating a warm and welcoming environment for all.
  • Working with the belief that all of our students can and will learn.
  • Learning about, promoting, and employing a growth mindset in our daily tasks.
  • Honoring our Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports core values of Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Caring.
  • Collaborating with each other so all are successful.
  • Valuing academic, social, emotional, and behavioral progress and learning.
  • Engaging in effective data analysis to inform school improvement.
  • Holding each other to high expectations.

We are proud to note our building is home to the District's first certified therapy dog, Charlee, whose love and calm demeanor is embraced by our students and staff.
