Principal's Message
Welcome to Dickinson!! We are excited to learn about you, your family, and your story. We have approximately 520 students and only 2 buses, meaning a majority of our students either walk in or are dropped off. This makes for a unique educational community that is energetic, family-based, and easy to assimilate within. While much diversity exists within the members of our community, one thing unites us all; care for our kids.
Our 26 classroom teachers are passionate about creating great people and lifelong learners. We are a PBIS school that weaves in concepts from Conscious Discipline, TRIBES and other resources. This means that we believe strongly in shaping character directly and indirectly. Academically, we are focused on improvement efforts in establishing a culture for learning, developing our questioning and discussion techniques, and using assessment in instruction. Our mission is supported by a strong PTO that balances fun and fundraising through amazing efforts and engaging events.
