Dickinson students doing a science and math project creating an avalanche

Students at Dickinson Elementary learn through reading, writing, speaking, listening, drawing, singing, games, and field trips. More complex thinking and communication processes develop as they apply their knowledge and skills through hands-on activities and other projects. Increasingly, students use technology as part of their preparation in becoming lifelong learners. We are committed to the District's Pyramid for Success, a model which emphasizes our coherent, guaranteed curriculum; sound instructional practices; and strategic assessement-- all based on authentic literacy.
