My name is Shelley Stensloff. I am originally from Wheaton, Illinois and moved to De Pere 14 years ago with my husband, Patrick, and our two boys. Justin is 20 and beginning his junior year at University of Wisconsin, Madison. Jack is 18 and starting his freshman year at UW Madison with his brother. Go Badgers!! Both of my boys went to Dickinson Elementary so I am excited to be a teacher at this wonderful school! After graduating from Illinois State University, I taught 2nd and 3rd grade for many years in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. After moving to De Pere I became a substitute teacher in the De Pere School District and worked as a long term substitute for many teachers at various grade levels. This is my 5th year teaching second grade at Dickinson. I am so excited to be your child’s second grade teacher this year and look forward to getting to know your child and your family.
Second grade is one of important academic and social growth. I believe all students exhibit a great range of talents and abilities. I look forward to helping your child develop and grow throughout this school year. This will be an exciting year of learning!!
