Mental health used to be something not commonly talked about, but fortunately more and more people are discovering that it is too important to ignore and needs our attention!  Mental health concerns are more common than many people think, and reaching out for help is the best thing that you can do for yourself and/or your child.  We sometimes may need a little help in getting there, but a joyful, happy life can be achieved by anyone!  Educating yourself on mental health topics is a helpful first step.  Find out more by doing research on professional websites, reading books (see my book list), or talking with a mental health professional.  Listed below are some common mental health concerns and some helpful resources for learning more.
